Hi,

Need some help on how to do these. This classified will be like a donation site. So no payment will be required.

• I am not getting Manage Form?
• How do I add Country/State list in Search drop down?
• How can products be sold at zero price also?
• How do I remove Auction listing?
• How do I remove digital goods option?
• I do not want address option for the ?
• When I click on contact seller, it asks for Recipient Users.
• When I click on Buy Now, I get an error. first line of the error says

  Fatal error: Field dbtech_classifieds_unpaid_buyer_count is not defined in $validfields in class vB_DataManager_User in ..../includes/class_dm.php on line 515

  then there is a whole long list of errors?

Some interesting questions. I'm uploading a fix for the bug to the site in the next fifteen minutes or so. Simply download the files and upload them to your server to apply the fix. Thanks for spotting that.

Regarding your questions:
I am not getting Manage Form? - Manage Forms is a Pro only feature.

How do I add Country/State list in Search drop down? - You can add Countries and their States in the Admin Control Panel using the Manage States and Manage Countries pages. They are then automatically made available wherever they are required by Classifieds. There are with the install most Countries already installed, and states for a few countries like the US and the UK.

How can products be sold at zero price also? - This isn't currently available, though we are looking at a type of free listing. If you have suggestions on what you need, we might be able to include support for that in version 2 which is under development.

How do I remove Auction listing? - You can deactivate any listing types you want via the Manage Listing Types page in the Admin Control Panel.

How do I remove digital goods option? - In the Pro version you can hide the option.

Thanks a lot for your quick response.

My 1st Q is solved. I would be going for Pro version but wanted what is the difference in features. A link might be helpful for checking out feature difference between lite and pro.


For my 2nd Q - I want to allow people to search classifieds country/state wise also. Currently we only have Title and description.

for my 3rd Q - Actually our site will be a platform where people can donate stuff. So basically there will no financial transaction involved. Hence the price of product is zero or we can say it is being donated.


For 4th Q - Looks like a pro feature. Will check this once I buy pro version.

Quick note to mention that as of Alpha 3 of version 2 of Classifieds (currently only available for Alpha Testers) the Free listing type has been included.

It also includes changes that make it possible to remove the requirement to have addresses.
