Question Splitting payments between credits and another payment profile

We were wondering whether it's possible to add support to splitting payments between credits and another payment profile-
i.e if a user has some credits (not enough for paying with credits in full)- we'd like to allow paying with the credits he has, and paying the remainder of the price with using another payment profile.

Is such an option possible?
Could it be made possible with custom development?

Unfortunately that is not possible, as XenForo's payment profiles do not support payment splitting.
