Question Twitch default theme

I love that every 5 minutes the addon checks to see if it's live, when it does it's suppose to add it to the top of the forums so every user knows it's live. This for the most part works, the streaming quality i'll blame on twitch themselves.

My problem, this doesn't seem to go away after the user has stopped broadcasting, several hours later it's still there.

The "Featured Channel" display isn't designed to be removed when the channel is no longer live.

but it's designed to become active if a channel goes live?

Yeah, if a new channel goes live (and the relevant option is enabled), the featured channel will change.
