I just upgraded for the first time since purchasing the vbshout (about a month ago). It has completely hosed the chatbox. It appears all settings are gone? I do see the chat instance in admincp, but it won't load in the forum. As I said, all user settings seem to be reverted to default? Help would be appreciated...

All admincp settings were reset as a result of moving them into the instance management.

Also, if you were using manual deployment please read the relevant section of the 5.4.0 Upgrade Notes.txt file :)

is there only one category for settings now (general options)?

That option is only for turning the shout on and off, all other permissions and option are found here:

Thanks...half way back to normal.

I noticed pushing the shout button seems to jump me down to one of my categories on forum home (one of the locations I have it deployed). Any suggestions?

Hmm I have not come across that on vB 4.1.x but I am sure Fillip H. can shed some light on it

EDIT I see he already is looking

No...I guess it doesn't. Would you happen to have a tip for me?

Doesn't seem to be doing it now... weird?

Anyway...one last glaring issue, their isn't any drop downs when I click on user names. Seems to be that way on default. Is that a setting?

Also I don't see the value to set number of chats to display in detached mode?

EDIT - Found the setting for number of shouts in detach.

It appears the setting for avatar height in detach has no effect? <--bug or user error?

I'm not able to tell why it would happen on a custom skin :(

Dropdowns and detached shouts count are both options in the Instance Management :)

Still not seeing username dropdowns in instance management. What is it called so i can do a search?

OK...found it...wow that was a hidden little gem. :)

Context Menu is the string you should be searching for - in the Pro version there's a global option and a per-usergroup option to see the menu.

The menu was found to be resource intensive, so it was disabled by default and it's possible to make it so only admins see it (for the management options) while members don't :)

Possibly last question...previously there was a button for users to select the font size to see in the chat. Where is that setting...what did you call it in admin? Not the button where they can make their own chats bigger...but the one that makes it so old people can see. :)

OK...I found it. Seems like that option doesn't work like the other ones in that category of admin options....like bold only makes the users chats bold. Where as this one changes all sizes, just for that user.

Instance Management-Enabled Editor Toolbars - Enable Font Size, make sure it is checked.

Then select it in user cp Shoutbox Settings - Editor Settings - Font Size Selector, make sure that is checked.
