Bug v3 live install issues

So I did an import of 9 games from v3Arcade, 5 of them ended up with game icons, 4 did not.

In the below screenshots, you'll see that in the first one, the game icons exist, but when I do the actual import of the games, on the next page, there are no icons.

Then in my arcade, there are broken icon images now for those 4 games. Should probably have a default icon or something incase they are missing for some reason.

Must blame v3arcade for not giving you working icons in the tars it sends.

See, when v3arcade first reports the games you have available, it does not include any images, and i guessed the urls to what v3a is using internally, and download them locally because they have hotlinking protection.

However, since im a good developer, i obediently use what is in the tar they send when it comes to actually installing the game, vs more ripping+hotlinking bypassing (otherwise whats the point?)

To be sure, look in your import folder for a (gameid)-(number).tar file for a game that had broken images, and attach it here. Just to make sure my untar-er is working.

Here ya go. I took a quick look inside the .tar file and there are two images in it. I had to add a .zip extension on it as .tar isn't an allowed extension here it appears.

Anyway, the tar seems okay and all 3 things work, so ill reopen this and take a look at your site in a bit

What kind of demon tar is this? My mac can untar it, but my untar function doesnt get very far with it.

Still, my untar has worked on everything else, and at least some of the live install tars.. so.. humph.

Error importing game

Got the follow errors when I clicked import to import some new games, the game in question is a v3Arcade game.

The error doesnt go away either. Imported new game. this hangs around the top of my ACP.

v3arcade games are not tar unless they are from the live installer. is that the case?

Yes, this was from the live installer. This is one of the games (There were 5 of them I think) that initially didn't install with the icon correctly that we talked about before.

I removed the game from import folder and temp and the error went away.

I get a similar error but with mkdir(), space invaders is one of them. Ill post the whole thing in a few

fixed in the next beta, and the demon tars are untaring again

theres a space flag instead of a 0 flag, causing the files to be written as directories = hilarity.
