Hey guys, I'm considering changing from vBExperience by Phalanx to vB Awards and Activities primarily because of your vBcredits integration (also your ongoing product support is reassuring); however, before I do I have a few questions. I've scoured the available help documentation and these forums and didn't see any on point answers.
I run a creative writing RPG where players receive EXP for completing story threads. Right now, I patch the EXP as "custom points" into vBExperience rather than using the built in forum activity counter. It's a basic currency addition that vBcredits could easily handle (I use vBcredits lite for two other currencies on the site and it works perfectly); however, the members have grown fond of the EXP bar & built in level calculator that comes standard with vBExperience. I've also done some heavy template editing to make it ideal for the forum. I noticed that vB Awards and Activity has bars, but I can't tell if I can add custom points. Seeing the vB credits integration I assume I can, but I'm not sure. So, backstory aside, here are my questions:
1) Can I add custom points using vB A&A or vBcredits integration?
2) Can I set custom levels at certain point amounts?
3) Can I set custom awards that are not based on posts, reputation, likes, or any of the traditional auto awards? ((e.g. "Best Story of 2017", where I can choose an icon and have it appear in the postbit after assigning it to a player)).
Basically I want this in the postbit:
"User Name
EXP Bar w/ level & amount needed to level up (from vB A&A)
GP (from vBcredits)
AP (from vB credits)
Avatar
Awards (from vb A&A)"
And whenever I click the link on "EXP" "GP" & "AP" it opens up the handy transfer/add custom points function where my moderators do not have to open the modCP to add points (this is a standard feature w/ vBcredits).
Thanks in advance for the reply. Please let me know if you need me to be more clear.
Edit: It occurred to me that a picture might be useful. This is what I have now. I'm hoping I can keep it all w/ vB activity & awards. You can see that I can't click the EXP to add custom points, but I can click GP & AP using vBcredits.
