Bug vB Notifications not showing

Been waiting for this since the announcement. Great mod. Have installed it this morning and wanted to test it out.

Have set up the setting to receive new PM's only and activated it in my account however im not getting anything through.

Reduced the refresh time down to 10 seconds and tried the legacy mode. The notifications of a PM are coming up in vbshout but im not getting no pop up.

This is happening in all 4 of my skins including the default one. Ive looked through the settings and cant find nothing out of sorts

In the "Manage Notification Types" area of your AdminCP, does the pmunread item have a status of "New"?

No its has the following

pmunread Unread Private Messages Yes 1 unread private messages

I had activated it when i first installed the mod

Ok I have download the new version Here are the issues im getting:

Popup still not showing on all templates this includes the default one.
Total unread messages is wrong. Showing 15 when I have read them all.
Total visitor messages is wrong. Showing 1 when I have read it.
Got another admin to send me a PM and total unread PM's has jumped to 31 from 15 even though they all read.
Have used the manage global notification setting but no option to remove the current one set up.
No option to change the colour of notification box text. Using a dark template and letters dont show.
In legacy mode the number of notifications is not showing in the top right hand corner. (Usual place)
