I tested this locally, and it works fine in the following scenario:
* Forum language Character Set is UTF-8
* Database is latin1_swedish_ci
* Keep Non-Latin Characters is selected
* Enable UTF-8 is selected

I think the only thing we haven't covered is your forum language character set?

The language character set is set to "UTF-8"

Our database is using: utf8_unicode_CI

I currently don't have a UTF-8 database to test with. I can't make any promises as to when I'll have time to set one up and test this again, I'll keep this thread open

Hey, your more then welcome to test with mine if you like? We copied the entire site/database so they are completely separate from our main site now . Let me know.
