Question visibility of thanks for own posts

I have the system up and running on my site, but I've been struck by one issue. The post thanks/like/dislike is not visible for any of my own posts. When users read a thread, they can like other posts/see other like statuses, but can't see if someone has liked their post. How can I fix this?

I hope someone has an answer. It seems really unusual not to be able to look at my post and see if someone has liked/disliked it. Several of the users have asked me how they can see who liked their post. No one has the ability to see the like/dislike/thanks function beneath their own posts. Is this an oversight in the code? It seems to defeat the purpose if people can 'like' something that you say but you don't realize that you have been liked? Is this fixable?

Is it the Bar or the Clicks on their own post? See below.

It's by design not to see the thanks/like/dislike Bar on your own post and once a click is made you will know/see the likes/thanks.

If they can not see the clicks... perhaps check permissions on each button...
Manage Buttons --> Edit --> Cannot See Clicks

I am no longer able to access your forum using the AdminCP details you have sent me previously.

Could you please provide me with valid FTP / AdminCP details so that I can look into this further?

Sorry about that Fillip H.. I had a problem with a possible malicious file and hostgator swept through just in case and they changed my password.

I didn't do anything yet, but I'll happily steal credit! ;)

Maybe the malicious file was causing some form of interference... who knows. Let me know if the problem resurfaces, and I'll go take a look :)
