That may be so, but it doesn’t teleport me back to my work computer if I’m away, and it doesn’t fix other outstanding issues that I want to resolve before releasing an update.

I do understand the frustration, but please also understand that giving ETAs is almost always impossible. No software vendor holds back releases for no reason. Pinging the developer does not speed up the process.
