Question Referral problems

Hello,

I will try to explain the problem i have, i made the event Referral and it requires moderation.

If someone makes a new account and refers someone nothing happens even when they verify the account over email.

I tried to manually change the usergroup for the refereed user only then it works and is showed on the transaction manager.



1 more thing is there any way in the transaction manager to sort out events that require moderation ?

This is already a feature, events requiring moderation are listed above other events.

iam not sure myself

the problem is if you would make a new account on my forum and put my name as referal (panta) it will not count
even if you accept the registration email you will not be counted as my referral


edit:
I tested it now first a made a new account and put my name as referral and verified the account.
Nothing happens, it shows in my profile = about me that i have the referral but vbcredits didnt send me confirmation pm and its not shown in the transaction manager.
So what i did i changed the usergroup to VIP (custom usergroup) of the new user, still nothing happens.
Then i changed it again back to registered user and then it worked i got the pm that i got 100 credits for referal and its shown in the transaction manager

That could simply be a delay in the processing of transactions. What happens if you manually run the vBCredits scheduled task after referring someone?

If it's disabled, try enabling it and running it a few times.

It may not do anything straight away, depending on how many pending transactions you have queued up at any given point in time

I've made a potential hotfix change to /dbtech/credits/credits_vbulletin.php - can you re-download v2.1.1 and re-upload that file, and see if that works for you?

it still wont work

i made 2 referrals and it shows in my account (about me) that they are refereed but i don't get any pm confirmation from vbcredits and no points

and can you plz explain me the difference between referral and refer when i want to make new event ?

"Refer" means the person who has been referred.

The problem may be that the user who has been referred has not taken any other action on the forum that triggered vBCredits' transaction processing.

Sorry for the delay, I've looked into this and it seems like the transactions can only be processed when a usergroup is changed manually.

To change it would require a significant rewriting of the mod, something we do plan on doing at some point in the future.

is that for all users or just my forum ?

and would it help if i bought advanced registration ?

It is for all users of the mod, and it would not change at this time by going with the Pro version. Once the mod is re-written, it may be able to to that, but their is no ETA for this to happen.
