shouts

I've finally upgraded to vB4 and the shoutbox and sounds are working very well. However, I was just wondering if it was possible for the sounds not to play on each page load/refresh?

So for a while now, if you have the shoutbox scrolling with the newest items on the bottom, the last line is sometimes cut in half. I haven't been able to figure out an exact cause of this in that some browsers display fine, and even some browsers with the exact same version show different...

Is it possible to move all the notifications into a separate tab, and just have the chatbox for chatting? At this stage it is looking like a forum wall. And when you chat it is a mess with 10 notifications popping up between chats. Thanks.
