Question [OzzModz] SocialGroups Migration ?

A lot of people have been held up from releasing their XF 2.3 forums because the [OzzModz] SocialGroups add-on has not been refactored for v2.3. I don't suppose you have a way to migrate from that add-on to yours?

At the moment there is no such importer, although if the developer can provide me with a dev copy I'd be happy to look into writing one when I have time

I'm not sure he'd be willing to do that, AFAIK he's just backed up trying to refactor all the other add-ons they got.

It’s no longer an issue me me. I dumped snog for Dragonbyte and manually copied threads.

I’m more interested in a importer to import threads into Social Groups. And really that would work with the snog addon as it uses the xenforo nodes.

Thank you for suggesting this feature, it has now been implemented. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future release (2.2.0).

The ability to copy threads into social groups is next on my list, FYI

If I move threads into a Snog group could I then import to Social groups? Seems like it should work

Potentially, though I plan to release the next version with both features since Snog’s group doesn’t work on XF 2.3 anyway

I can’t give a specific release date but the importer as well as thread import feature is complete, so it shouldn’t be long
