Bug Sort by Username - not working

On the main Gallery page I noticed that the sorting by username function doesn't work, at least on my live site. When I select it the page refreshes but the order does not change. However on my test site install it works fine.

I cannot give access to my live site as it's a private adult forum and I assume going to my test site may not be helpful since there's no problem there. I'd appreciate any thoughts as to why this may be happening though.

hmm, not sure what would be causing it. If you use firefox could you open firebug, select the console tab and select the sort by username?
If you use google chrome you could do the same thing by going into tools, developer tools and select console there.
I'm just looking to see if you are getting an error in there that doesn't display on the page.

Using Chrome and the console I see this for all the images so I'll assume this is not the issue:

Resource interpreted as Image but transferred with MIME type text/html:
"http://DOMAIN.com/*****/dbtgallery.php?do=gallery_image&id=51&gal=gallery&type=thumb". dbtgallery.php:467

Using Firefox and FireBug Console I get no error messages.

Funny thing is I can sort by all the other listed ways but not username. I'm curious if it has anything to do with the problem I mentioned here:

I may try deleting the 'offending' pics and trying again. Of course I'll let the member know and see if he can re-upload them after. OR if there's a way I can download the photos and re-upload them myself for him...

You'd need to use a 3rd party thing like the log in as user addon to be able to add the image as the user. I'm not sure if it has to due with that issue. I can't figure that one out either. Kind of hard without being able to access it.

I understand it's very difficult to help without access. Just hoped you had some insight.

I do have that addon and that's how I would put them back on, however I don't know the folder to which they're saved to copy them to my puter.

The folder would be their userid split up. So if the user had an id of 1032 then look in images/attach/1/1/0/3/2/
The first 1 is for the gallery instance id, the rest is the userid

Thanks Dylan... However I cannot find the gallery files.
I looked in the main forum directory -> images/attach/??? no more directories.
I looked in dbtech/gallery/images/??? no 'attach' directory.
The Gallery Pro directory doesn't have an images directory.

What have I missed? I have v1.2.4 loaded.

Sorry, the default is dbtech/gallery/images/upload
So it would be like
dbtech/gallery/images/upload/1/1/0/3/2/

If you moved it, you can see the upload location in the ACP gallery image settings. The setting is called Image Upload Path

It made no difference to the sorting issue.
