Thanks for tracking it down.

I'm sure I'll upgrade to 4.2.2 before too long, but it's probably good this issue popped up now because I'm sure more will come across it because 4.2.0 is still pretty popular out there.

Is this issue definitely not a problem in 4.2.2?

I'm also still seeing this error on the homepage (CMS):

Fatal error: Call to undefined method vB_Input_Cleaner::parse_url() in /home/cruisin/public_html/forum/packages/vbcms/content/article.php on line 740

I reverted the files, so that should be sorted.

How many files were edited?

I see vbcms/content/article.php was not reverted.

Currently I cannot delete the Test article using the delete button within CMS. When clicking on "Delete" it just goes to the article page. Also clicking on any article brings up this error:

Refreshing the page will bring up the article.

Edit: possibly caching issue on article originally not displaying, followed by the deleting issue maybe because it was originally a thread promoted - so it appears you can't delete from the CMS?

Out of curiosity how did you delete? The delete button in CMS or through the db?

Because I went into the database to clean up what I was expecting to see as numerous duplicates from when the test article(s) were created today and there are currently no orphaned duplicates left in there - which I was seeing previously when this happened.

I'm sure not the issue you wanted to see pop back up...

I am not having the original issue (all the posts being created, your file edit seems to have fixed that), but I can no longer save, publish or edit a CMS article with DBSEO enabled. I'm not sure if this is due to a recent change in DBSEO or an issue that just didn't pop up before. I haven't tried publishing an article in nearly a month so I can't say for sure if it existed before.

If I try to save an article it goes to a blank article page, editing an article seems to work fine while editing but the edits never save, and when trying to publish a new article it goes to what would be the new article page with blank content for the article.

If I write the article, turn off DBSEO for 30 seconds, publish the article, turn DBSEO back on all is fine. For now this work around is fine for me until I upgrade to 4.2.2 which I believe does not seem to have these issues. Just figured I'd let you know in case you wanted to look into it further in case the issue pops up with someone else.
